We offer you a nine-day, ecological - ethnographic tour "Visiting the White Shaman", to the Bunisiak hostel, located on Lake Lama. There was no such tour on the Putoran plateau!

Tour program

Day 1
Meeting at the Alykel airport. Guide with a sign "Putorana" Transfer Alykel - Norilsk.

Before leaving for Valek base, places for sending boats, we call at the cafe for breakfast and, if necessary, in the shops of the city of Norilsk for the necessary.

Transfer to the pier Valek, a place of parking and departure of river vessels to Lake Lama. Delivery to Lake Lama is carried out on modernized boats KS-100. The ships have spacious cabins with a capacity of 10-12 seats, a deck for passengers who wish to explore the surrounding landscape in more detail.

The distance of the route is 165 km. The journey takes 6-7 hours, depending on the weather. The trip itself is very spectacular and informative. You will see the entire transition from the valley, lowland forest-tundra, in the floodplain of the Norilka River, to the northern taiga in the heart of the Putoran Plateau.

The beginning of the route passes along the channel of the Norilka River. This is a calm, valley river. On the shores of light forests, interspersed with a large number of small lakes and marshy wetlands

Next, we enter the river Talaya. It is a winding, rolling river, with a fast current, steep banks, one of the favorite places of rest of the Norilsk people. We pass three picturesque rifts, and exit to the Melkoye Lake.

This is a valley lake with gentle banks overgrown with forest-tundra mixed with areas of northern taiga. Mountains are visible from all sides, spurs of the Putorana plateau. The mountain valleys formed by the Lakes Deep and Lam, are visible.

Small Lake corresponds to its name. It is really very shallow, there are many picturesque islands on it, and it is very difficult to approach the shores, because of the shoals.

Next, we enter the Lama River, which flows from the lake of the same name. In fact, this is not a river, but a spill between two lakes.

There is almost no current in it, many islands, shoals, a channel, tacking between which we leave to Lake Lama.

This is the middle of the road. Snack (hot tea from a thermos, sandwiches, sweets).

The lama, in its western part, enters a marshy valley. Here she has flat, swampy, shallow shores overgrown with forest-tundra. Somewhere here, sometime in immemorial antiquity, was one of the capitals of Atlantis.

After a few kilometers the landscape changes. The lake is surrounded on all sides by mountains with pronounced terraces typical of the Putoran Plateau. At the beginning they are relatively low, razvalystye, waterfalls on them are rare.

But, the farther along the lake, the higher and steeper and more impregnable they become.

Waterfalls begin to emerge from the mountain terraces. The shores are covered with northern taiga, consisting of larch,  spruce, birch, with thick alder underbrush. In the first part of Lake Lam, there are several “Norilsk Nickel” campsites, there are houses built by Norilsk people for rest, boats and boats come across. But after passing half the lake, there are very few houses and boats, and the last 25-30 km you can rarely meet along the shores and on the lake. Because of remoteness, these places are rarely visited except for us and our guests. The mountains here are 1000-1200 meters high. They densely surround the lake from all sides with impregnable walls, carved by small canyons and steep cuts, each of which carries a cascade of waterfalls. There are hundreds of them, and their roar, especially after the rains, continuously stands above the valley of the lake. Only a few river valleys tear up the continuous wall of mountains in the eastern part of Lake Lama. Spruces and birches almost disappear along with the banks. This is a typical landscape of the central part of the Putorana Plateau.

We arrive at the base Bunisyak, which is located in the most remote, eastern end of Lake Lama. The base is located in a dense larch forest, near the mouth of the river Vekhikai.

Accommodation in a comfortable guest house.

Dinner. Free time.

In good weather, from the base through binoculars, one can observe unique Putoransky snow sheep, listed in the International Red Book.

The eastern extremity of Lake Lama, since ancient times was considered to be among the Evenks who lived here,

a shaman's place, a place of power, a place of rites and communion with the spirits of nature and ancestral spirits. This is a place of Great Force, the concentration of which is the legendary Shaitan - the mountain, opposite which is located the base Bunisiak, the place for which, naturally, was chosen not by chance. Somewhere here, in the 30-40s of the twentieth century, the last shaman of this ancient people lived out its age.

For evening tea - Oleg Krashevsky's stories about the Putorana Plateau, Nganasans, Dolgans, Shamans and his collection.

In their free time, anyone can go fishing from the shore, or rent a motorboat for trolling. You can walk through the nearby forest.

Day 2

Excursion route "Weeping Rocks". The total distance of the route is about 15 km. The journey time is from 6 to 8 hours depending on the preparedness of the group, accompanied by a huntsman.

Departure by motorboat to the Crying Rocks, 2.5 km from the base.

This is a unique place, the only one on all Norilsk lakes. Here, steep cliffs, 12-15 meters high, vertically go into the lake to a depth of 20-25 meters. Several streams run down the cliffs, large of which form beautiful waterfalls that break straight into the lake.

In the morning hours, in sunny weather, in the scattering splashes of one of the waterfalls, there is a bright rainbow, which can be reached very close.

And smaller streams flow over rocky cliffs, dripping from the ledges. It seems that the rocks "cry". This is perhaps one of the most beautiful places on all Putorana lakes.

We land on the shore and, accompanied by the Rangers, begin the ascent along the stream flowing into the lake next to the Weeping Rocks.

Above the rocks, there is a flat platform, hidden from other people's eyes. This is one of the places where shaman mysteries happened. Little has been preserved since ...

Soon we have a view of the first, 25-meter waterfall, located 800 meters from the shore of the lake. To him, we climb along the broad stone bed. Among the stones, sometimes there are huge fragments of slabs, one side of which is perfectly evenly processed by unknown, ancient peoples who lived here in ancient times. They fall from above somewhere ...

We rise above the waterfall to the observation deck next to it. From here there is a magnificent, panoramic view of Lake Lama.

Above, 300 meters away, there are two more waterfalls, about 10 and 30 meters high, in a magnificent canyon.

Further, we climb along the canyon along its eastern edge above, and exit at the fork of the stream. Both of its beds are amazingly beautiful cascades of waterfalls, descending from a magnificent circus, the cliffs of which break off from the plateau at an altitude of about 800 meters. In small gaps on the slope of the circus are several glaciers from which streams originate.

It is from somewhere on the slopes of this circus, and the processed plates fall. Once it was a colossal energy reflector, similar to those described by Ernest Muldashev in Tibet. How many years have passed since then unknown? Tens, hundreds of thousands, and maybe more ... On both sides, the circus is limited by two pyramidal structures, 600-700 meters high. Sometimes, when fog covers the mountains, they mysteriously appear in it in all its glory ...

And the exact place from which the processed plates fall from has not yet been found ...

Along the eastern channel, we rise to the exit to the plateau. From the edge of the plateau offers an unforgettable view of the eastern tip of Lake Lama, the valleys of the rivers Bunisyak and Talaya.

Hiking snack, tea from thermos, sandwiches, sweets.

Walk along the edge of the plateau above the circus, 3-4 km.

Return back. First along the trail to the first waterfall. Below  we turn to the east, and we move diagonally across the terraces directly to the base. We leave on the bank of the lake, and on it, we reach the base.

Full dinner with national Dolgan and Nganasan dishes, rest, bath option.

In the evening, a tour of the unique ethnographic museum. Today we will talk about a unique collection of clothes, shoes and household items of the indigenous population of Taimyr. The greatest interest is Nganasan clothing, which is absolutely unique in its cut and tailoring, and was inherited from its ancestors, the ancient inhabitants of Taimyr. It is perfectly adapted to the harsh conditions of the Far North, it was sewn by hand from veins of deer skins, and very beautiful. Especially striking patterns, the so-called moths. Each park is original and sewed according to certain criteria strictly for a specific person. The ornaments reflected many data about the owner, age, ancestry, number of children, luck in the hunt and much more.

Day 3

Excursion route "Along the valley of the river Vekhtkai". The total distance of the route is about 15 km. The journey time is from 4 to 6 hours, depending on the preparedness of the group, accompanied by a huntsman.

We leave to the picturesque canyon cut by Vekhikai 1.5 km from the base.

Further, we rise along the channel to the mouth of the first right tributary, we begin to rise up along it. Somewhere on the slopes of Vekhikaya, a photograph was taken of a huge statue. But, the person who made the photo, they could not remember exactly the place where it was. Apparently, the ancient spirits of the mountains did not want fame, and they closed the place for a unique find for people.

View of the valley Vekhikaya from above. Visible right tributary along which we will rise.

From here there is a magnificent view of the cascades of waterfalls of the left tributaries of the Vekhikai. Hiking snack, tea from thermos, sandwiches, sweets.

We leave to the cascade of waterfalls. We rise above, and exit to the observation deck, from where a picturesque view of the surroundings opens.

Dinner with national Dolgan and Nganasan dishes, rest, optional bath.

In the evening, the continuation of the story about a unique ethnographic museum. Today we will talk about the tools and work items. The collection contains a unique selection of copies, arrows, staffs, powder flasks and much more. But the most unique is the selection of carved bridles for domestic deer, carved by masters of mammoth bones, deer horns ,and bighorn sheep horns.

In their free time, anyone can go fishing from the shore, or rent a motorboat for trolling. You can walk through the nearby forest.

Day 4

Excursion route "Climbing to Shaitan mountain". The total distance of the route is about 17 km. The journey time is from 6 to 8 hours depending on the preparedness of the group, accompanied by a huntsman.

Shaitan mountain has always been considered a place of great power among the local population. Evenk shamans lived and kamlali near its foot, and various rituals were performed next to it. It was under its slopes, according to the stories of the old-timers, that in the 30s-40s of the 20th century, the last Evenk shaman of this region lived its life. The ruins of an ancient megalithic structure, with remnants of carving, were found on a plateau above Shaitan Mountain. On a mountainside in clear weather, the "face of Shaitan" is visible, the human face in a semi-profile of huge size. It is possible that this is a game of nature, but it is painful in a suitable, energetically very powerful place that has been worshiped by the people living here since ancient times. A few years ago, after another collapse, around tunnel opened on the mountainside, stretching deep into the mountains. But later, when trying to get inside, another, internal collapse, covered the passage, although the contours of the hole are clearly visible until now.

Departure by motorboat to the mouth of the stream flowing into Lake Lama, near the mountain Shaitan.

Climb along a nameless stream, along with its eastern edge, to the slope of Shaitan. At the top of the stream, there is a huge, almost vertical, basalt wall. Below it is visible traces of colossal landslides that blocked the valley. It is striking that the surface of the collapsed mass, in some places lies absolutely smoothly, which is completely inexplicable ...

On its inaccessible slopes, sometimes open round, going inwards, tunnels, very similar to the ventilation vent. From here, there are often UFOs that can be clearly seen in the fall when the nights turn dark. And it is precisely at the mouth of this stream that legendary underground inhabitants sometimes appear, which they have seen on several occasions. And maybe they come out of other dimensions, unknown and inaccessible for us so far.

On the side inflow, there is an inspection of a cascade of waterfalls, the largest of which is more than 40 meters high.

Inspection of habitats Putoranskih snowy sheep. These unique animals can often be observed from a short distance. The exit to the plateau, from the edge of which there is an amazing view of the entire eastern part of Lake Lama.

Hiking snack, tea from thermos, sandwiches, sweets.

Walk along the edge of the plateau to the place of turning Shaitan mountain to the northeast.

From here there is a magnificent view of the valleys of the Talaya, Bunisiak and Heusi rivers.

Next, we go deep into the plateau and go to the rocky outcrop, which, upon closer inspection, turns out to be man-made.

Well looking, through ancient ruins, megalithic blocks that overlap. This is the corner part of the once grand structure, apparently the remains of the foundation. On several blocks, the remnants of the thread are clearly visible, almost erased by time. At the base lies a rectangular plate, oppressed to the other, vertically extending into the depths, slabs. From what depths of the time these remnants of the past have come down to us, unknown ...

Return back along your path to the waterfall, below it directly to the lake on the terraces. Exit to the shore of the lake, and then go home by motorboat.

Full dinner with national Dolgan and Nganasan dishes, rest, bath option.

Interesting communication with Nganasans and Dolgans, employees of the base. Stories about the customs and traditions.

Day 5

Excursion route "In the footsteps of the ancient Evenk hunters." The total distance of the route is about 22 km. Travel time is from 6 to 8 hours depending on the preparedness of the group. Accompanied by a huntsman.

Departure by motorboat to the mouth of the stream that flows into Lake Lama near Shaitan mountain.

Inspection of the place of the old Evenk camp. View circles on the vegetation remaining from the installation of the chums. 300 meters from the remains of the Evenk maw to catch Arctic foxes.

Transfer by motorboat to the mouth of the river Bunisyak.

Continue on foot along the river bed. Having passed 2 km, we turn into the forest and exit to the unique place of the Shaman Gate. These are two very old Evenki wooden idols, the place of the shaven rite of the Evenki shamans.

This is the personification of masculine and feminine. The silent guardians of the sacraments standing at the foot of Shaitan are mountains that set their sights on the Heussi valley. Once they opened the entrance to the shaman's tent, from which, unfortunately, nothing was left ... But the power gained in this place is still great. Regular rituals maintain an ancient tradition.

And the dormant power of the shaman’s gates, which is directly connected with the great power of Shaitan - mountains, responds with streams of energy, which sometimes turn into bizarre mirages that amaze the imagination ...

Next, we move through the forest along the river bed Bunisyak. Soon we go out on the hills, which turn into a high coastal terrace. Inspect the "bare trees", covered with labels of bears in the form of snacks, scuffing ,and wool of these animals. Bears regularly visit these tags by constantly updating them.

We leave to a large, perfectly flat terrace, on which, judging by the esoteric data, once there was a city of some very ancient civilization, mostly underground. The city was destroyed by several powerful explosions, huge craters from which are visible until now. As a result of these blows, part of the vaults of the vaults collapsed, and the failures are also clearly visible. We examine the large craters left over from the explosions that destroyed the city. What kind of civilization it was, what kind of war destroyed it, can only be assumed. It is possible that these are the cities of the legendary Hyperborea - Oreana. After all, according to the legends, they built underground cities on the Putorana plateau. There they hid all their cultural values and artifacts confirming their cosmic origin. Maybe their distant descendants are mysterious underground inhabitants? Or maybe these craters are traces of some immeasurably older conflict. Time has almost completely erased the traces of their presence ...

This terrace is also known for its very rich lingonberry.

Further, we move along the river Talaya, the tributary Bunisyak, to the canyon. After exploring the canyon we rise to a huge waterfall with a height of over 60 meters. This is the largest waterfall in the area.

Marching snack, bonfire, tea, sandwiches, sweets, preheated main course.

Return back on the other side of the river Bunisyak, if the water level in it will allow crossing the river ford. We leave on the bank of the lake and on motorboats we reach the base.

A full dinner with the first dish, rest, optional bath.

In the evening, the continuation of the story about a unique ethnographic museum. The most unique exhibits of the museum are religious items. The owner of the base, Oleg Krashevsky, is recognized by the Nganasans and part of the Dolman of Taimyr as a Russian white shaman, has a Nganasan name Syrai Kou Naya, which means the White spirit of a man. Thanks to this recognition, the emu managed to collect unique items of shamanistic worship, which have no analogs.

Day 6

Excursion route "Up the river Khoysi". The total distance of the route is from 20 to 30 km., At the request of the group. The journey time is 6-8 hours depending on the preparedness of the group. Accompanied by a huntsman.

Departure by motorboat to the mouth of the river Khoysi.

Further along the terraces, we enter the large canyon of Hoixi. The height of the rock walls to 15-20 meters. It stretches for several kilometers.

Somewhere here is the ancient burial mound, the burial of one of the commanders of Alexander the Great, who was killed by an arrow shot in a fight with local warriors. His detachment climbed up the river in order to reach the remains of the ancient city, which was located somewhere in the top of the river. Descriptions of the campaigns of Alexander the Great, made by Arab historians, describe the journey of his army to the Land of Gloom, far to the north. As our historian Novgorodov convincingly proved, Alexander's army reached the lower reaches of the Yenisei and Ob rivers, and his troops went to Putorany.

Then begins a huge frost, the remnants of which are sometimes subsidized only at the end of summer. The high steep mountains that surround Hoixi abound in Ptorana snow sheep, which can be seen with binoculars in good weather. There are also many brown bears, traces of which are often found.

We rise to the expansion of the valley in its upper reaches. This is an amazingly beautiful basin surrounded by mountains on the slopes of which numerous cascades of waterfalls fall. Awesome sight!

Marching snack, bonfire, tea, sandwiches, sweets, preheated main course.

Way back in its wake.

A full dinner with the first dish, rest, optional bath.

In the center of the hall of the second floor, there is a real shaman's tent, passing along the height of two floors. The story of the shamans, shamanism and shamanic rituals. Meditation with elements of ritual, for those who want to plunge into the world of shamanism ...

In their free time, anyone can go fishing from the shore, or rent a motorboat for trolling. You can walk through the nearby forest.

Day 7

Excursion route "Ride on Lake Lama". It is carried out on a high-speed motorboat Kazanka 2 M. The total distance of the water route is about 95 km, about 11 km on foot. Accompanied by 2 rangers.

We drive along the picturesque southern shore of the lake to the mouth of the river Neralah, which is 38 km from the base.

At one and a half kilometers from the lake on this river, there is a large, very spectacular waterfall. To which you can come very close.

Below the waterfall, the river cuts through a deep, very spectacular canyon.

We cross the lake and along the northern shore of the lake, we reach the isthmus between Lama and Kapchug Lake. Lake Kapchug is smaller than Lake Lama, its length is 12 km, width from 1 to 3 km. An isthmus between the lakes is only 400 meters wide. It offers a picturesque view of both lakes.

Further along the northern shore of the lake, we reach the mouth of a picturesque nameless stream, which flows into the lake not far from the mouth of Bucharama. We rise to a very beautiful, two-step waterfall. Its lower stage splits into 3 separate streams.

At the end of the route, we visit the base of ufologists at the mouth of the river Bucharama. If the owners of the base are in place, talk about the energy characteristics of these places.

Return to base.

A full dinner with the first dish, rest, optional bath.

In the evening, visit the sacred twelve rotating maze, located 500 meters from the base. It was built by visiting wise men, friends of the host base. The labyrinth was built in compliance with ancient traditions dating back to the traditions of Hyperborea - Oriadna. Interestingly, at the time of construction, such mazes were not found. But a year later, exactly such a labyrinth was discovered on one of the islands of the Solovetsky archipelago. The meaningful passage of the labyrinth helps to get rid of various life problems, including health.

Further along the coast, there is a traditional Slavic temple and a sacred grove. Inspection, talk about the old Slavic traditions, Slavic magicians and shamans.
